The statement gained importance when Union Minister for Science and Technology Harsh Vardhan said on Sunday, 22 October, 2017 at inauguration of Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Education and Research Centre and super specialty clinic at Prabhadevi.
It is said that IIT Delhi, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences have teamed up to develop implant system that will be 1/3rd the current cost.
Current implant rate in market trends from 20000 to 50,000 Rs per implant.
The question is how and when will the common man get to reap the benefits of cheaper implants and to what extent ?
