There are no doubts about benefits of eating apples everyday, only if a bit care is taken regarding washing their surfaces from chemicals and dirt. 

A diet rich in apples and tomatoes can slow down progression of chronic lung disease in smokers and others prone to get COPD due to high levels of pollution.
