Dental tips for Children...

(A) Parents should wipe their newborn’s gums with a clean, damp cloth after each feeding to control the accumulation of plaque 

(B) Children should visit the dentist no later than six months after the first tooth erupts, or before the child’s first birthday.

(C) Parents should begin brushing their child’s teeth as soon as they erupt, with only a pea-sized amount of fluoride toothpaste.

(D) Parents should not give a sleeping child a bottle with milk or juice. Instead, children should drink water before going to sleep to prevent baby bottle tooth decay or Nursing Bottle Caries.

(E) Avoid giving Chocolates and Soft drinks  (cold drinks) to Children as they cause dental caries (tooth decay).
