Age between 30 -40 years

Early 30s can bring about changes unanticipated both in men and women— the corners of the mouthstarts turning down just slightly, and gives a much harder look and comments like oh you smile lesserthough you may be in a happier phase than before in real can surely pull one a bit down within!!

30’s generally leads to the stage at which one feels a complete control over on relationships, one is ontrack at work generally and one has built a respectable bank balance and is attune to surely and truly nowenjoy his/her life! This is when life cuts its cruel joke on you as it throws a beauty bouncer on you. In otherwords, thirty is often the age when you start to see your looks changing...and definitely not for the bettermore often unless some extra care is given!

Those first deep wrinkles begin to emerge, turning once-cute little lines around eyes into full blowncrowe's-feet. Sometimes the acne may decide to make a comeback too after teens or may appear for thevery first time and is called "adult acne- which is generally hormonal in women". Damage from earliersunburns and beach holidays can begin to appear as blotchy pigmentation and dull saggy skin all of asudden. A plush ponytail of just the earlier decade may be reduced to a tiny thin form like a remnant ofone before. Your mirror throws back a picture with few but prominent aging features which can also bevery disheartening for some.

Hormones are one of the major reasons for all these heart burners. The majority of hormonal changesstart around the age group of 30. Our female reproductive hormone levels begin to taper off too, whichresults in hair thinning and not-so- wanted skin conditions. Human growth hormone begins to fall down toowhich leads to increased breaking of collagen production, giving way to a dull, saggy and slack skin. At18, growth hormone levels may be around 900 but automatically by 30, they've dropped to 200 which isnormal but leads to sad subtle changes aesthetically! In Men not much skin but male pattern baldnessdue to testosterone and DHT changes is very prominent in today's era for this age group.

Everyone is going to see some changes in his/ her thirties due to hormonal shifts, but for those who havebeen tanning, drinking, smoking, no cardio exercises and eating poorly, the problems are just going to beworst.

Skin Care at 30

To keep yourself looking gorgeous throughout your thirties and way beyond, try these simple steps:

1. Cleanse skin each morning and make sure to remove makeup and cleanse again before bedtime. Thisallows skin to perform its essential protective and renewal functions well. Always use products I feelsuggested to you by your dermatologist as today many products are available in the market to choosefrom and many are heavy on the pocket but should be a medical advice by a pro on this surely whichmakes a huge difference quips Dr.Bhardwaj.

2. “Exfoliate at night rather than the daytime”. Overnight skin is in renewal mode and removing dead skinskin prior to bedtime enhances the skin's function. Exfoliation should be a fairly gentle one just to removedead skin and if skin is oily or with acne in 30’s then twice a week else only once a week should besufficient.

3. Protect skin during the daytime by combining an antioxidant serum or vitamin C serum with sun screenas they enhance each other with sun screen ofcourse being the first one to be applied on to the skin.

4.  Make sure that body skin is not dehydrated hence showers should be never more than five minutesand water temperature lukewarm. Using a moisturizing body wash is important as well to preserve theprotective moisture barrier of skin. For working professionals a golden advice is even if a shower bath ondaily basis then in the last 2 mugs of water to add 4-5 drops of essential body oils or if nothing thenalmond oil/vitamin e oil/sesame oil in it and splash on the body to form a moisturizing coat.

5. Wear broad spectrum UVA/UVB sun protection every single day of the year, including raining days andon overcast winter days. UVA rays are "slow agers" which remain constant throughout the year.

6.  Rub in rich intense moisturizing body lotion or apricot oil daily after bathing on slightly damp body for ahealthy, hydrated skin.

7. Drink plenty of water to also stay hydrated internally. Add lemon or lime juice for an extra boost. And,eat a healthy, Multi color; high-fiber diet with atleast 15-20 minutes of work out daily.

8. Be stress free! Ofcourse that's easier said than done but adding a hobby of 5 or say 10 minutes dailywhich one loves is definitely very soothing and relaxing!
