Movies play a very important role in our life, some movies influence us and can also bring about a change in our outlook towards life, Dangal is one such movie. This  article is an attempt to understand psychological perspectives from movie which can be applied in our day to day life

1) CHERISH WHAT YOU HAVE

The movie begins as a tale of depressed father who had a dream of making his son a wrestling champion, he remains depressed at the fact that he has four daughters, it takes a incident for him to realize that even daughters can become wrestling champion.

Even in real life we keep on obsessing about things which we don't have without trying to cherish what we have and making best use out of it

2) NO GAIN WITHOUT PAIN

Geeta and Babita go through vigorous training sacrificing their childhood , at one point they become rebellious but soon realize that there is a long term gain and start complying with their father.

In life too when we are faced with adversities we need to focus on our long term gain and deal with it head on rather than getting rebellious or lazy.

3) KNOW YOUR STRENGHTS

Geeta tries to change her attacking style of wrestling to defensive which makes her unsuccessful at international level, she retains her attacking style and becomes successful

Its good to learn new things but we need to know our core strengths , we should believe in ourselves and our talent to achieve success in life

4) PEOPLES PERSPECTIVE CHANGE WITH TIME

Throughout the movie you see opinions of people changing in what they perceived as unreasonable and foolish idea to push girls into wrestling becomes the most  important dream of villagers to see girls getting gold medal

What other says or feels about us should not matter to us, we should believe in vision of people who know us and trust us and follow them rather than pleasing other people who do not matter to us
