There are grapes in my air spaces

And they are not sour,

They are not green either,

But they fill all the sinuses! 

They block the airflow,

In and out both,

The mouth takes over the breath,

Drying the buccal cavity, though!

 

Stuffed or running nose is a constant feature,

Frequent headaches worsen the matter,

Snoring disturbs the co-sleeper,

Anosmia remains on top of the roster! 

Caused by allergens numerous,

Some known, some unknown,

It makes a person grim and taciturn,

Being pushed into the abyss is ungenerous! 

Anti-allergens refuse to work, 

Steroids give temporary relief,

Endoscopy is like digestif,

The only factor that works is ‘luck’!

 Hope by now you know the diagnosis,

The name given to me is nasal polyposis!
