1. Guava

This fruit has plenty of fibre and 5 times more Vitamin C than an Orange. It also provides many important minerals like potassium, iron and calcium. The best part is that it is low in calories-just about 60 calories per serving, making it an ideal snack option.

2. Red carrots

Carrots are perhaps best known for their rich supply of the anti-oxidant, beta-carotene. Beta-carotene helps protect the body from infectious diseases and maintains healthy vision and skin. Carrots are rich in minerals- phosphorous, potassium, copper, folate and manganese. The red carrots are most flavourful and can be enjoyed raw in salads or tossed into any vegetable or snack preparation like upma, poha, idli, etc. to top up the nutrition and fibre content.

3. Sarson (Mustard leaves)
