But remember, these habits even for as short a span as six months can cause: 

  1. Hyperacidity, gaseous distension of tummy.

  6. Coffee, no more than two cups. If you feel the urge to have something refreshing, try a fruit juice or flavoured milk instead.
  7. Increase water intake to more than three litres per day. Drink water subconsciously. Have a bottle of water on your desk. If you are an artist, you can have a gulp when you get an idea or each time you dip the brush in the colours. If you are in the publishing business, condition yourself to drink water every time you finish editing a copy. Carry water from home if you work at remote places.

  9. Maintain regular diet timings, however small the meal may be. Never miss out on your lunch because you have a deadline. Your productivity plummets when you’re hungry.
  10. For mental relaxation, try yoga or meditation. Again, if you are lazy, sit in the chair, put on some soothing music and just relax.
  11. Take up physical exercise at least thrice a week.
