While initially daunting, the physical discomfort was outweighed by the gradual transformation of my smile and improved oral health. Emotional challenges were met with support from my orthodontist and loved ones. Despite occasional setbacks, the final results were immensely satisfying. This experience taught me resilience and the importance of investing in self-care. Overall, the journey was worth it for the confidence and lasting benefits it brought.

In the beginning, it was very uncomfortable with the braces. There was tightening of the braces which would give pain for few days. However after months it became normal and started to hurt less. The teeth also started showing a lot of changes. 4 of my teeths (2 of upper jaw and 2 of lower jaw) were extracted because of open bite condition. Slowly the teeth started moving back and filled the gaps left by the extracted teeth. The process made considerable changes allowing it to be normal and straight without any opening between the upper jaw teeth and lower jaw teeth. Altogether it was a 2 years 5 months process which came out with very good results.
