It was my first time seeking for counseling and it was great. The thing I like most about Miss. Ritu is that she finds lots of innovative methods to address one's issue. She has a pandora box for ideas. Simplifying the complex theoretical text with most relevant Analogy. I had codependency issue and she kept perfect balance between counselor and supporter. It was never about one hour only. She was available most of the time through text and call. And whenever she finds relevant material, she just share it. She is extremely non judgmental person and open minded to lot of things. Sometimes one might feel like they were doing wrong based on the moral values set by society but she will make you realize that it's extremely normal. She is very patient person. Lot of times I lashed on her but she stayed by my side. She also scolded (sarcastically) me or disagreed with me when she should and that made me respect her more. Prior to counseling I was afraid that my decision making ability would be challenged as they will direct me to do things. But when I started counseling with her the baton of decision making was always in my hand. She always ask solution of a problem and when I am not able to give appropriate solution then only she suggests it. She is like a wisp in a dark scary night. To give you company that you are not alone in this and guide you out of this abyss.

I am working on stress and anxiety management with Dr Ritu. I was hesitant due to the nature of online sessions as I thought I might not be able to open up but Dr Ritu is very friendly and she made that journey easy. She tackles each problem very delicately but most importantly makes you feel heard. She understands your problem patiently and also helps you understand them better. For someone who might be starting with the journey of better mental health might think that a doc will give generic bookish solutions but that is not the case at all. She gives creative and practical solutions which are specific to your problem and more importantly I never felt she was imposing or forcing a solution, rather she always presented it as a possible solution with different outlook. Thanks to Dr Ritu I am doing a lot better from where I started. I am still improving and learning, and I am glad I have Dr Ritu along with me in this journey. I 100% recommend.
