I visited the doctor in 2017, I was 72 kgs then, 165 cms. Was struggling with irregular periods, thyroid and pcod. Most of the top doctors I had consulted told me straightforward that you have to take birth control pills, which I was taking from last 4-6 yrs on and off , to regulate your periods as there is no cure for pcod. I was somehow not ready to accept it. When I consulted her and told her that these pills have caused me so much side-effects that I had to consult for my psychological issues. I didn't want to take these medicines anymore and wanted to have regular periods. She understood me and said if you don't want to take these medicines then loose your weight by 15 kgs, go consult a deititian. I did the same and lost 15 kgs in 6 months. My pcod wasn't 100% gone by that time but I was on a path of self healing. My body was healing with all these positive lifestyle changes.

Dr. Mukta has a very pleasing and patient demeanor, she tries to listen out the problems giving all possible time to her patients. Her ligh heartedness along with her great experience and practical knowledge make her a very approachable and dependable doctor. She is very thorough in her diagonosis and is not orthodox in her approach and judgement giving the much needed support the patients want.
