Dr. Mahendra Singh Uikey is an AIIMS-trained Consultant Psychiatrist who has cared for patients with mental health conditions since 2018. He completed his MBBS at AIIMS Bhopal (2017) and his MD in Psychiatry at AIIMS, New Delhi (2018–2021), where he managed both outpatient and inpatient care, on-call psychiatric emergencies, and rotations across Neurology (CN Centre, AIIMS), consultation-liaison psychiatry, community psychiatry, and the National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre (NDDTC-AIIMS).
He provides evidence-based assessment and treatment for depression, anxiety and panic disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, sleep problems, and stress-related conditions, in both adults and adolescents. He has advanced training in brain-stimulation therapies — repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), and modified ECT — with a special interest in treatment-resistant depression. His clinical research is indexed on PubMed.
Dr. Uikey believes mental health deserves the same care as physical health.
