I was admitted to Max Hospital Gurgaon and Max Hospital highly recommended me a surgery to remove the kidney stone. Even one of the junior doctors said that the stone (~2 mm in size) is stuck at a place where it cannot be treated with medicines. However, I decided not to go for the surgery and give a try to medicines. I got to know about Dr. Sumit through reviews on the Practo. Unlike the doctors in Max who were just focusing to convince me for surgery, Dr. Sumit first understood the case in detail and then he explained all possibilities regarding my situation. He also advised me on the lifestyle and eating habits that I should follow to avoid such situation in future. I started the medication on 15th July and on my follow-up visit on 21st July it was diagnosed that the main stone was already out.

I have been to most of the big hospital chains in Gurgaon and have been shocked at the apathy towards solving patient's real needs. Dr Sumit stands out in this scenario as someone who not only has very good understanding of his field but also is genuinely interested in hitting the problem at the roots.

Dr Sumit is a great doctor !! His expertise, in diagnosing the problem, and the habit of giving complete explanation about the medications provided, is the basis of trust I build up during the consultations. After confirming my problem of kidney stones, he advised me to go for surgery, as this was the only option left ,as the medications don't work for big stone. Now its been over a week after my surgery done by him and I am feeling perfectly fit. I am really happy that there was no pain or complication after the surgery (done by laser) and would highly recommend him !!
