Her experience in Diabetes clinics included managing children with type 1 or type 2 Diabetes. In type 1 Diabetes, the newest insulin administering technology including sensor-augmented insulin pumps, closed-loop hybrid insulin pumps or even traditional ways of using multiple daily injections were used.
The Endocrinology clinics were busy clinic including hormonal conditions including managing puberty related problems like early onset of puberty or delayed puberty, menstrual problems in girls, polycystic ovarian disease in adolescents, puberty induction in Turner syndrome and other puberty related hormone deficiencies; managing thyroid conditions in children, growth hormone deficiency and steroid hormone deficiencies (adrenal insufficiency) or excess (Cushing syndrome), medical management of pituitary tumors.
