After completing her MBBS from LLRM Medical College, Meerut, she persued her M.Derm degree and DNB training from well known P.N.Behl Skin Institute, Delhi.She has also worked as a senior research fellow in AIIMS for 1.5 years.She has authored many papers and posters as well as written a chapter on keloid in ACSI textbook. She has participated in various national conferences.
