Dr. Rajiva Gupta

I have been Dr. Gupta's patient since 2018. He treats me for psoriatic arthritis which he was able to bring into remission. I am very happy with his treatment, how calm he is, and how he listens to my needs. What I like best is that he supports my career and ensures despite a chronic illness, I am a high performer in office. He is a senior doctor so yes you have to jump through hoops and meet his junior doctors first, and also be patient as you wait for appointment. Most good doctors in India do not spend more than 5-7 minutes with you. As a patient, come prepared! I usually have my questions ready, in bullet points, and I know exactly what joint pain / symptom I need to show him. Even when I am abroad, he continues to treat me using teleconsult. I will never trust another doctor with my condition which is complicated. His approach is balanced, and he never alarms the patient. For those of us with chronic illnesses, that is important. There are ebbs and flows of these diseases. I always feel reassured when I consult him. He insists on seeing bloodwork so come prepared. Doctors cannot diagnose on teleconsult, but they can assess and treat someone they have met before. For those with immune diseases or arthritis, he needs to see you and how you move! Also, be kind and polite to his staff members, that goes a long way. They are people too and its not easy managing a heavy waiting room. That's a sign of a good physician, so bring a book, coffee, and relax while you wait. Wish you a speedy recovery.

Myself, bearing patient ID No: MM01408417 registered and appointed on dated 14th FEB 2019, in department of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology under supervision of Dr. Rajiva Gupta, **** ** **** **** ******* ** *** ****** ***** *** **** *** ***** **** His fruitful way of Co-ordinating, advicing is the best part, from which I cannot wait a moment to write review, even being lying in hospital`s bed . Entire team, Regading HOD, Doctors, Nurses, Technicians, Cleaner, Helper are equivalent to relatives, Height_of_closeness :) At eventual, "My message to this review viewer as well, patient/patient parties who is looking for best medication in the world, Medanta is Right and perfect destination for for your proper treatment. Likewise, There is concept in everyone`s mind that Medanta is expensive. I found as per my experience on stay, hospital is quit expensive but not high expensive, the treatment/medication, service and hospitality is likely fruitful in international standard as it equivalent to the billing amount. So, spending money for getting higher standard quality of treatment is not great issue. Health is everything, you can borrow loans/money for improvemnt of your health, but you cannot borrow health to get speedy recovery. Think higher and get treatment from Medanta Medicity" .

Post appointment, we met with co Dr. Suruchi Balad, she has no sense of talking to patients, she talks angrily, rude, unprofessional. Not sure how medanta is handling Suruchi Balad. She seems to be a frustrated with herself. My parents even worried to revisit suruchi due to her rudeness.

Post Suruchi we met with Dr Rajeev Gupta, he seems to be ok on first visit, but then again on second visit after 2 days, he acts like a rude doctor, does not responds properly to the query we asked for blood test reports. Also as soon as we entered for consultation he picks up phone and talked to his friend for 10 mins.

Very embrassing for me as i took my parents and felt very disappointed with doc behaviour.

Please avoid visiting such doc.

Imagine a doctor coming on the consultation for which you pay 1800 to only tell you that he is unable to diagnose the condition online *** *** ******* **** ***** ******* **** ****** ** ****** ** ********** *** ********** Such was my horrendous experience with Dr. Rajiva Gupta of Medanta (Rheumatologist). He was so impatient and not ready to listen to any questions. *** ******* * *** *** **** ** *** ***** ** * ****** ** ******* **** ****** ************* I had uploaded my files and test results but he did not even bother to read them. ** ** ***** * ** * ****** ** ******* ** *** **** ************ ** **** ** ****** **** ***** ********** ***** ******** ********** Never again!

Head of rheumatology and clinical immunology Dr.Rajiva gupta is the t doctor I have come across. ** *** *** **** ***** *** *** *** ** **** ***** He doesn't allow patient to ask any questions. He doesn't patiently hear to patient's problem. Once done with appointment and consultation and payment of fees, he is not accessible anymore. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

He is a very polite doctor and a expert in his field.with the disease of ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITTIS I used to walk and bend with too much pain,with his treatment i am able to live a normal and healthy life without any pain.He has given me new life.i would recoomend this doctor to everyone.

My mother took my helper who has been with us for 30 years, to see Dr Rajiva Gupta. His manner of speaking was very strange. He wouldn’t listen to my mother when she was speaking and his whole approach was very nonchalant. It was unfortunate that we spent so much time and money on seeing him.

Very arrogant and high headed doctor. Does not explains anything about the disease or the way he is going to investigate. And, you are not allowed to ask any questions !

My wife Mary David has been under the treatment of Dr Rajeeva Gupta for a long time. We are very happy with him.

Dr.Rajiva Gupta Sir is very polite , caring , supportive , extremely experienced and dedicated .
