Prepared for civil services during his post-graduation and he appeared twice for UPSC interview for IAS and once for IFS. He was selected in Haryana Civil Services in 2004 however, to follow his passion for animal sciences joined Harayana Veterinary Services. He worked as a Veterinary Surgeon for the Harayana Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department from 2005 to 2016. Later, in 2016 he decided to practice private pet care and joined Cessna Lifeline.
