Dr. (Prof) Nirmal Kumar

He was very receptive and patient. We were visiting him as the 4 doctor in contiunation with my treatment and had a lot of past medical history and reports to walk him through. He examined me well, reduced extant medication and scheduled follow up with some new tests. While nothing conclusive was found which is leading to my issues however he was able to assure us that nothing grossly wrong is present either hence alleviating a lot of worry that we had with my digestion, persistent stomach ache and burning sensation, and acidity issues. I will update once i do my entire abdomen ultrasound and confirm basis my next visit. As of now, his medication is not harming me and hence i am happy with it.

Dr. Nirmal Kumar is found to be very friendly. He listens to problems of the patients attentively. He explains the cause of illness and give proper suggestions. He prescribes very limited medicines.

My mother had to undergo hernia operation at one of the biggest hospital in Delhi, we went to Dr Nirmal to consult about her abdominal pain which didn't go away after operation. Dr Nirmal didn't had any advice and just asked for some expensive tests to be done at venkateshwar hospital, which were twice expensive as compared to other path labs. We visited him again, this time with all the test reports that he recommended and to our surprise, this time he asked us to go and consult the doctor who operated my mother for Hernia. He had no advice, diagnosis or treatment to offer. We were very disappointed with our experience with Dr Nirmal

He is good at what he does but what I did not like was that he rarely explains the problems and gets irritated when you ask him questions. Even when you don't get the medical jargon and ask him about it, he gets irritated. This is my 5th visit to him and I have faced this issue repeatedly. I know there might be some things which we wont be able to get but patients should not be rebuked if they are asking basic questions like what are the functioning of the prescribed medicines and whether to continue the previous medicines or not.
