He was Senior Advisor (Army) - HOD Department of Pediatrics in these Hospitals and recognized Professor of Pediatrics at renowned University of - Pune, Delhi, Bombay and Lucknow. He became Senior Consultant paediatrics in 1965 for Army, Navy and Air-force.During his long service tenure, he actively participated during war days including 1965, 1971 etc. He is a recipient of a gallantry Award in 1971 Indo-Pak Operation in Western Sector for his gallantry rescue operation during Active War Operation for India. He has many scientific publications on his name in the field of paediatrics.
