Ms. Divya Baveja is a qualified psychotherapist and an RCI registered Clinical Psychologist with around 9 years of experience in the field of Psychology and Mental Health. She founded ‘The Mindsight’ with a view to impart psychological services like psychotherapy, psychodiagnostic, counseling as well as training to individuals, couples, or organizations. She has received her training from the best faculties the country offers. After completing B.A. Psychology Honours from Delhi University, she pursued her Post Graduation (M.A.) in Psychology from Delhi University and M. Phil in Clinical Psychology from the prestigious Central Institute of Psychiatry. Her work experience includes relationship counseling and adolescent counseling in The Counselling Institute, Delhi; serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Psychology, AMITY University Lucknow for around 2.5 years where she gave training to the future psychotherapists of the country in counseling skills, listening skills, psychodiagnostic and various schools of psychotherapy, in an RCI affiliated program. Her extensive training and work experience equip her to deal with a diverse range of issues an individual or couple or a family may be confronted by – depression, anxiety, phobia, OCD, grief, emotional or behavioral issues, addiction, mood disorders, stress, existential concerns, adjustment issues, relationship/marital problems or severe conditions like Schizophrenia.Being passionate about the field of mental health, she remains curious about the nature of mind and human relationships. She has many published research papers and book chapters. She keeps updating her knowledge and skills in different forms of psychotherapy like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Transactional Analysis, mindfulness-based therapies, Gestalt Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Short term Dynamic Therapy, etc to keep adding to her ‘toolkit’. Her core approach at therapy is to understand comprehensively and relate with the client, given his cultural, familial, educational background, bring about insights within the client that propel self-growth, healing and holistic integration of his personality, goals, and purpose.
My experience with Ms Divya has been great. She has really helped me in getting my anxiety in control. She is calm and listens patiently, and really helps in understanding the root cause of the issue.
Dr. Divya gave me a great explanation about my problem & things associated with it. The therapeutic techniques used by her are really appreciable. The way she made me understand about my problem is really commendable. I saw difference in my self right after 2-3 sessions. Thank You Mam!
A friend recommended me Dr. Divya Baveja when I shared about my issues and told him that I needed Therapy. And I must say, I was more than happy with the counselling sessions and the treatment provided by her.
Earlier, I wanted to go for face to face sessions but due to covid-19, that was not possible. Still, after a conversation with her, we proceeded with telephonic sessions and I cannot be more grateful to have taken that decision.
She is a really good listener, has a sense of calmness in her voice which helped me in opening up to her. The way she explains, uses her personal experiences or guides me has proven so effective for me personally. She not only helped me in resolving my past trauma, improving my relations with my family and people in my personal life but also in understanding myself better.
I would totally recommend her to someone who needs help :)
I liked the following things about my sessions with Divya:
1. She listens to every detail that you have to talk about and keeps a note of everything to discuss.
2. If I face problems in explaining my problem, she asks the right questions to steer the conversation forward.
3. The attitude during every session has always been non-judgemental and totally objective.
4. The way she explains complex things with simple analogies makes it easier to understand for people who are unfamiliar with emotional vocabulary and psychological terms.
5. She keeps reminding to book sessions regularly (if required) so it gets a little easier to have a steady progressive therapy.
6. Complying with doctor-patient confidentiality she has never disclosed any of our conversations to my boyfriend (he is also her patient)
I have been taking therapy from Ms Divya since almost a year now and I will continue to do so for as long as I require it.
Initially, I was very reluctant about going in therapy because I considered myself as someone who doesn't necessarily NEED therapy. This was because I generally never faced issues in dealing with my emotions, irrespective of their intensity and have always been able to get out of tough situations on my own but after starting my sessions with Divya, I realised that there is so much for me to learn about myself.
I started therapy because I had started to get upsetting dreams about a disturbing childhood event and the frequency kept on increasing. Even though I was not extremely bothered by that happening but my boyfriend still suggested that I consult Divya for a better understanding about my mental state and emotional health around it and from that day on, I started to look at therapy from a very different perspective.
Divya helped me understand my fears, triggers and personality on top of what I had already figured out over the years and it was an extremely pleasantly surprising experience.
I have also suffered from clinical depression and chronic anxiety and I have sought her counsel for these as well and our sessions helped me a lot in managing these illnesses along with the Psychiatric medication.
Along with myself, I have also referred her to my friends and I have gotten very positive responses from them as well.
She is an amazing therapist and I am more than satisfied with my experiences with her and would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a consultation.
I am Priti dhingra from delhi. I was facing depression from July 2018. I was taking medicines from august 2018.during that period I was sleeping day and night. I woke up only four to five hours in the evening. I have a kid of 3 years .I donot woke up for my child. Everyone told me wakeup for your kid.but I was not able to wake up. I have taken only 6-7 sessions from Ms. Divya in june2020.She gave me solutions for every problem. I started following her suggestions. There were some misunderstanding with my mother in law. we were not comfortable with each other from last 10 years.divya gave me only one solution.then I understand how to be comfortable with in laws.now me and my mother in law are comfortable with each other. Now I wake up early in the morning. After 6-7 sessions shesaid you don't need counselling now you are all right. Ms Divya is very good counsller.she changed my life completely.she is very intelligent and friendly conseller. Special thanks to Ms. Divya for peaceful life.
Divya is a great therapist who is clear, invested, and transparent. She worked with me on the issues I was facing in my life and allowed me to see them from various perspectives and choose my own path to deal with them. Divya also does not sugarcoat things, if you need to hear the truth she will say it to you as is and help you realise it on your own terms. In hindsight I think it was very valuable for me as it helped me avoid taking any rash decisions and in not repeating my dysfunctional patterns which I've come to realise but found hard to escape. I have a lot more clarity now in my life and feel much happier. While I saw her for a short duration, it made a definite impact and I was able to decide that I don't need more sessions anymore. She has been there offering her constant support even after that.
Another point where I'd really like to commend her is that she is very insightful and smart. She doesn't force her opinion and works with what you give to her. Her awareness and empathy towards social issues that many of us face everyday was very important for me in choosing a therapist that I can speak with, and I am glad that I got all that in her.
I was uncertain if it's going to help me or not, but my anxiety was becoming difficult to cope with. I have taken a few medications for about 6 months now but time and again, my work demands and ups and downs in my marriage would keep resulting in flare ups..
When I went to her, I found a patient listener.. she was able to connect with me and understand what I am going through.. after the initial sessions she shared her reflections and her treatment plan for me. The best thing that I found was that we made the goals together.. uptil now I have always been told and directed what to do , without people understanding my situations.
I have managed to reach some of my goals so far in the therapy process, with her constant support . We are still working on the rest. My anxiety is better controlled now.. I am able to carry on with my life without going to phases where I earlier thought I couldn't get out from.. I do recommend her if you need any kind of psychological help. I stuck around in the process and I am happy that have gained a lot from it by now.
Great session by Ms Divya Baveja. She listened properly and I got an understanding the problem is much more deep rooted and has become a hindrance in many areas. Initially i was very sceptical on the amount I had to pay for the sessions but with some sessions I was able to zero down the issue and now am working on it. This has drastically improved my professional and personal relationships. I would like to owe my new birth or a big breakthrough I achieved to Ms Baveja. Thanks for the time and patience.
She taught me that age has nothing to do with being right or wrong. She had helped me sail through a very difficult time of my life. She helped both me and my husband understand each other better. We are both working on ourselves also and our marriage also now.
I had gone to her after a relative referred me to her, and i hve never regretted the decision. She always offered us a safe and non judgmental place to be ourselves and with her encouragement we were able to face some of our own faults too.
Before her sessions i would have been very embarrassed to write these things. But working with her has reduced my apprehensions for trivial things now.

My 18-year old daughter was suffering from Stress because of inferiority complex she developed after puberty stage. **** ****** ********* ********* ** *** I liked this fact by Ms. Divya. Sometimes, parents are not able to understand this problem or syndrome. And a profound explanation of the facts helped my daughter to come out of it to a large extent. I would recommend to all parents facing the children's stress issue
