He then joined Safdarjung Hospital and Vardhman Mahavir Medical College where he finished in post-graduation in Orthopaedics. Both Maulana Azad Medical College and Vardhman Mahavir Medical College have been in the top 10 medical colleges of India. His fellowship was accredited by British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. After finishing his fellowship, he has moved back to India and joined CK Birla Hospital for Women, Gurugram as a consultant orthopaedic and foot & ankle surgeon.Dr Chawla has a diverse local as well as overseas experience of managing most of the orthopaedic problems including trauma, arthroplasty as well as arthroscopy. The Doctor was thorough in their examination and explained everything very well, using visual aids. I have no complaints with the Doctor apart from the delay. I had booked an appointment for 6 and got a all asking me to come by 6:30. I reached a few minutes before 6:30 but I wasn’t able to access the Doctor before 6:50. I had a work call at 7:30 and my appointment got over at 7:28. As much as everything else went in support of the Doctor, the delay caused significant anxiety and I wish I had been informed to come at 7. I would’ve just rescheduled my call, in that case.

Hoped for better: Wait time
I had gone for a foot injury of my 72 year old mother-in-law which we suspected to be a hairline fracture. We arrived well before the appointment time and informed the attendant. But the doctor arrived 30 minutes after the appointment time (there was nobody before us)We then had to wait again for more than 30 minutes for the doctor to come back from his rounds to show him the X-Ray.We tried to complain that overall it too us 2.5 hours for a simple case of hairline fracture (with overall consultation time of 20 minutes) even when there were no other waiting patients and even for such an old patient. The doctor told us we should keep 2-3 hours free for an OPD appointment in CK Birla hospital. He also said if he wants to get it done faster we should visit his private clinic. I am not aware why the doctor was repeatedly late and he didn't try to explain. However he was clearly unempathetic *** ********* ** ********* *******

I had suffered an ankle injury in March 2019. Before visiting Dr Chawla I visited 3-4 top orthopedics throughout NCR for my injury. None of them were able to help me much. They wouldn't listen to me properly and neither would they properly examine my injury.I finally consulted Dr Chawla in March 2020. He was extremely friendly, made me feel comfortable and conducted my examination thoroughly. He was extremely patient, answered all my questions. Finally he performed surgery on my ankle. It's been 2 moths, and I feel much better. The doctor is always available to answer my questions and regularly keeps taking updates on my recovery

Dr.Anuj Chawla is a very friendly and calm doctor who doesn't believe in assumptions but investigations of the problem stated by the patient. I am presently going to him for my feet and ankle problem which assumes to be related to osteoporosis and marrow edema, but as said, since Doctor Anuj believes in investigations first, so has adviced me to get a blood test and a hip and lumbar spine xray done before he starts off with further treatment..he hasn't prescribed so many medicines unnecessarily but has only given me two medicines, which I felt very nice and feeling okay too...still a long way to go ...but still very happy with his treatment procedure, as he explains very well...Very happy to be under his treatment ..

Dr. Anuj is very calm and friendly, I visited him 3 months back with twisted ankle and from test results it came into notice that there are 2 fractures and it will require a surgery, he explained the procedure precisely and also mentioned that with proper rest and physiotherapy it would take about 3 months to recover. I didn't face any issues pre and post the treatment, I am now fully recovered and can start the normal activities. I'm satisfied with his consultation and treatment, would definitely recommend for any foot related issues.Lastly would definitely like to thank staff of CK Birla and their services, they genuinely take care of the patients very well and always seeks feedbacks for any further improvements.

I took my husband, who was in pain and could not walk due to pain in his hip area and left leg. Dr. Anuj was really kind to rent a wheel chair for travel from home, minimising our stress to reach the clinic. He patiently explained the problem to my husband, as well as to us. He explained the treatment options available and answered all our queries. The clinic was well equipped and we did not have to step out for x-ray. We are satisfied with the consultation and the treatment provided. Would highly recommend.

I was concerned about my foot that i injured while playing football, and hence saw Dr Chawla. I thought it was a sprain, but was unsure since the swelling was disallowing me from putting pressure on it.
It was a good visit to Sian ortho and foot clinic. I received a message with my appointment time beforehand. I didn't have to wait at all. I got good advice; was explained what happened quite well. The X-rays, from multiple angles, happed in a timely manner. And my foot seems to be in recovery now.
A good ortho *** *** clinic to visit for Gurgaon residents.
