Medical College Meerut ,1992 with honours in opthalmology;and M.S.(ophtha) also from L.L.R.M. Medical College Meerut 1995. After that he worked as Sr. Resident at Guru Nanak Eye Center New Delhi & associated Maulana azad medical collage for 3 years. He also worked in Guru teg bahadur hospital for 1 year.He has lot of experience in managing eye care emergencies. His expertise lies in anterior segment, cataract,and strabismus. He has done fellowship in phacoemulsification and Contact Lens.After getting adequate experience in Ophthalmology,Dr.Swapan jain founded Punarjyoti Eye Center in Vasundhara Ghaziabad with all basic facilities of OPD and O.T. in the year 2001With his hard work dedication and knowledge, Dr. Swapan jain has gained faith of his patients very early. I took appointment for 5:30 and I got the appointment but during visit I found that 2 person already had been taken appointment for 5:30 so I number was 3rd. But I was really satisfied with doctor and staffs. I would recommend to other people if you have any eye related issue then visit.
Dr was to the point and cleared all our doubts and given suggestions which was really worth, dr with kind heart and really care for patients..not money minded
I would definitely suggest people to get suggestions from him before any major decision you need to take for your eyes

I visited punarjyoti eye care to cosult Dr Swapan Jain for routine eye checkup on 02.09.18. After 5-6 days my one eye got swelled badly and became red with itching. I again visited him on 10.09.18. He diagnosed conjuctivitis and prescribed medicines. I am still suffering from conjuctivitis and taken medical leave. Similar incident happen last year when I visited with my mother for her normal eye checup. She also caught severe conjuctivitis and suffered a lot. In both cases I visited punarjyoti for normal consultation *** ******** **** ****** *** ********* I think the checkup instruments etc are not cleaned properly after checup of patients that is causing cross infections. ***** ******* ** ********** *** *** following sterilization guidelines. Better to avoid such places *** ** ***** **** **** ***** ***********
