Dr. Karuna Peravali leads the team at White Lotus Dental and provides …read moregeneral, cosmetic, restorative, and family dentistry services to the residents of North Texas. A graduate of the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, Dr. Peravali has studied modern dental techniques and practiced in California, New York, and Texas. Now that she has built her own practice, Dr. Peravali is able to use her experience to help all of her patients in Frisco forget all their fears and anxieties with compassionate care that will help patients enjoy coming to the dentist.
Dr. Peravali received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, part of the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, where she gained clinical experience in general, pediatric, cosmetic, restorative, and periodontal dentistry. Then, she completed her general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, providing comprehensive care to patients and practicing all aspects of dentistry, including working with developmentally disabled children and medically compromised patients. From there, she worked as an associate dentist at clinics in Houston and the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, performing preventive dental maintenance, tooth extractions, orthodontics, cosmetic restorations, and more.
Dr. Peravali spends many hours each year making sure her treatments and materials are cutting edge and up to date. She has received extensive training in cosmetic treatments, oral surgery, dental implants and root canal treatments. She’s actively pursuing her Fellowship of the Academy of General Dentistry and is a member of few notable organizations.
At White Lotus Dental, Dr. Peravali believes that prevention is the key, which is why she puts a lot of emphasis on patient education. She helps teach children how to keep their newly developing teeth strong and healthy and older adults how to keep their real teeth for a long time. She always takes the time to provide personalized hygiene tips for each individual patient.
Dr. Peravali also believes in preserving natural teeth in all dental work she and her team do. She uses state-of-the-art technology for early detection and added comfort that leads to an anxiety-free experience. Ultimately, she is devoted to helpingread less
