Dr. Pankaj Dawar

I met Dr. Pankaj in November 2016 for my spinal problem. I was suffering from lumbar spinal stenosis from over 6 years and I was in a bad shape. I wasn’t able to walk even for a minute due to severe pains and swelling in my legs.

I have been asked for surgery by many doctors but a fear of paralysis given at same time.

Dr. Pankaj was the first surgeon who gave me confidence and not fear. He assured me that my problem can be cured and I’ll be good post surgery. He took that fear of Paralysis out of me.

The day I met him I was sure that I will get my surgery done only by him. He explained me in detail about my illness and cure and given me confidence to live a PAIN FREE LIFE

My surgery was done in Feb 2017. He assured me of internal stitches. I still remember his words post surgery “move your legs” and yes I was all good.

I started walking within 24hrs of my surgery. The moment I kept my first step I said to myself and my family “there is no pain”.

Person like me who wasn’t able to walk even for a minute, today walks for 5-7kms continuously. All credit goes to Dr. Pankaj who actually given me a Pain Free Life.

Dr. Dawar is one of the most accomplished doctors that I have come across ever. The patient of mine, my cousin, had 99% disability and he was totally paralysed from waist down. Dr. Dawar performed two surgeries on him in a space of one month and the patient was back on his feet - 98% back to normal!! Unprecedented! On 1st June 2019, My mother Mrs. Prabha Sharma aged 52 years complained for pain in upper part of left leg and back. I took her to Sarvodaya Hospital in emergency. Pain killers were injected but there was only a little relief. MRI of back was advised and was done and Doctor Pankaj told that L3 and L4 of backbone were damaged and surgery is essential.

Doctor showed us that strength of her left leg was affected. Surgery was done on 5th June. She started walking from the next day. On 8th June she discharged from hospital. Now she can walk easily without pain. Strength of left leg is also improving day by day. According to doctor, she will be able to bend very soon. Doctor is good and i am taking treatment from 3 months but my muscles stiffness is not going i am very upset from him because he does not clear that what is the problem and how will go to problem permanent always he prescribed medicine and i am taking medicines from him last 3 months.

I had a very good experience at Sarvodaya Hospital. I want to specially thanks Dr. Pankaj Dawar, a Neurosurgeon. He helped my father a lot. My father was unconscious after a very severe accident. I didn't get good response from other hospitals but I started to see improvement in my dad's health after Dr. Pankaj Dawar started to treat him.

My Father is now at recovering stage. Once when I lost all hopes, Dr. Pankaj Dawar helped me to again have faith that my father will be okay eventually. Thankyou so much.
