I thank Dr. Meenakshi Jain for resurrecting my life at the age of 45. Since my childhood and teens, I had mood swings, eating problems, and depression. With time I developed anxiety and multiple issues around it. Some were of a serious nature and despite visits to naturopaths, healers, holistic doctors and homeopaths, I was never able to progress. I even went to various psychotherapists, and psychiatrists, and took medication. I felt worse after the counseling, wallowing in self pity. The medications gave me side effects. I went through my personal life as a failure, and through my professional life with some success, managed with difficulty. This continued for decades. One day, I ran yet another Google search and found Dr. Meenakshi Jain I contacted her. She was extremely reassuring, kind, and listened to me better than any counselor ever did. My biggest fear was medication and she promised we will proceed only once I have a full understanding of what the medication entails. She got me tested and we started some medication. It had no side effects and I began to feel better. The most amazing part is that Dr. Jain was able to diagnose deeper issues I was facing through our follow up sessions. These issues did not even show up in the tests. That was when the magic happened. She clearly explained my issues and what is going on so well that I was convinced I can trust her and her medication. I'm very glad that I made that decision. Dr. Jain office has a welcoming and calming ambience. It is comforting to be in her presence.

Consultation:

She listened attentively to the issues I had been dealing with. Her questioning was thorough but gentle and respectful at all times.

Diagnosis:

She really knows her stuff because she identified the possible issue, ADHD, with accuracy and conducted a comprehensive assessment which confirmed it.

Treatment:

She presented treatment options with neutrality and objectivity, allowing me to make an informed decision. I was a little wary about medication but I felt confident to make an informed choice with the information on the meds she shared with me and her patient responses to all my questions.

I also appreciated her approach of not priming me to experience the medicine in a certain way (she told me the basic information about side effects and answered my questions, of course). Instead, she let me make the informed decision to take meds myself and let me experience the medication and draw my own conclusions.
