Dr Jason Philip has completed his MBBS from Govt. Stanley Medical College, Chennai in 1997, MS General Surgery from Govt. Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai in 2005 and MCh. Genito-Urinary Surgery from Govt Stanley Medical College, Chennai in 2012.He joined the Tamil Nadu Govt. Medical service, as a Civil Assistant Surgeon in June 1997. He was an Assistant Professor of General Surgery at Govt. Medical College, Salem from 2005 to 2009. After post graduation in Genitourinary Surgery, Dr Jason joined jGovt Salem Medical College as Assistant Professor of Urology in August 2012. Later he was promoted as Associate Professor of Urology, Andrology & Kidney Transplant in 2016. After serving the Govt of Tamil Nadu for more than two decades, Dr Jason Philip joined Dr Promodu's Institute of Sexual Medicine & Urology (a division of Dr. Promodu's Institute of Sexual & Marital Health Pvt. Ltd.) on 01st January 2019 as a Senior Consultant in Andrology & Urology. Dr. Philip possesses a passion for Sexual Medicine. He spends time educating and counselling patients after precise diagnosis. He displays sharp skill in diagnosing and treating a variety of sexual problems & male infertility.Being a former Associate Professor of Urology, Andrology & Kidney Transplant in Govt Medical Service and with his 21 year - long Govt Service, he has vast experience in handling all the common urological diseases of men & women. He has special talent in minimal access (keyhole) surgeries for stone management, treatment of prostatic diseases, genito-urinary trauma & urological cancers. His ability to establish an instant rapport with his patients combined with his passion for Andrology is highly commended by his teachers and patients.
