Dr George Varghese did his MBBS from the Govt. Medical College Trivand…read morerum (Kerala University), & Masters ( DLO & MS) from Mysore University in 1990.He started his career in 1991 as a teacher in the Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. Subsequently he was acting as head of ENT Unit III.
Selected to win the ‘Ranbaxy Award’ the National award of the Indian Rhinology society in 1995, he has keen interest in rhinology, especially endoscopic nasal surgery (with special interest in Frontal Sinus Surgery), and rhinoplasty. He underwent a post graduate course in advanced Frontal Sinus and Skull base surgery at the International Neuroscience Institute, Hannover,Germany, under Prof.Wolfgang Draf in 2008.
He has a number of Indian and International publications to his credit.
Dr.George is a faculty member at various rhinology workshops, and conferences, both national & international, including the 36th FESS workshop at the University of Graz, Austria, conducted by Prof.Stammberger in 2006.
He performs annual live surgery workshops on Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, & Rhinoplasty.
His manual titled’Functional Endoscopic Rhinoplasty’(FER) was published by Karl Storz, in 2006 from Germany.
Presently he is having private practice in his own centre, the 'GV ENT CLINIC' in Kakkanad,kochi, & is also attached to Vijayalakshmi Medical Centre & Cochin Hospital both in Kochi.read less
