She completed her MBBS and MD (Dermatology) from the West Bengal University of Health Sciences and was awarded Gold Medal in Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology along with Honours and Distinction marks in multiple subjects.
She is also a Diplomate of The National Board in Dermatology.
Subsequently she has also gained in depth theoretical and practical experience in Surgical Dermatology, Lasers and Aesthetic Medicine while pursuing her Post Doctoral Fellowship from St. John's Medical College, Bangalore which is one the premier Institutes in India.
She has also furthered her knowledge in Pediatric Dermatology during her tenure as a Senior Resident in the Dept. of Pediatric Dermatology at Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya, New Delhi - an associate hospital of Maulana Azad Medical College and India's first NABH accredited public hospital.
Currently she is Head of the Dermatology Department at the Mission Hospital, an NABH accredited hospital at Durgapur, West Bengal where she combines her vast knowledge and extensive experience in clinical dermatology, dermato-surgery and pediatric dermatology to provide state of the art care to all patients attending the hospital.
