She obtained her MBBS from Bharati Vidyapeeth in Pune, India and her Master’s degree (MD) in Paediatrics from the University of Seychelles, USA. She also holds a Diploma in Child Health from MGM Hospital, Navi Mumbai, India.
Dr. Mehra commenced her career first as an Intern and later as a Resident at the Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, India. She also did a stint as a Resident at the Arpana Charitable Hospital in India, following which she got the opportunity to move to the UAE as a Registrar at the International Modern Hospital, Dubai. She then became a Resident Doctor at the Noor Medical Centre in India. Subsequently, she relocated to the UAE to join the Saudi German Hospital, Dubai. She also worked at Al Zahra Hospital and UniCare Medical Centre, Dubai, as a Specialist Paediatrician.
Dr. Mehra’s expertise encompasses newborn and child health checks, vaccination and immunisation programmes, growth and development monitoring, management of acute and chronic childhood illnesses, neonatal and infant care, including feeding and weaning guidance, preventive health and parental counselling and paediatric gastrointestinal disorders. She is proficient in treating all paediatric conditions, including asthma, allergies, common childhood infections that are respiratory, gastrointestinal, ENT, and urinary in nature, neonatal jaundice and infections, childhood epilepsy, paediatric diabetes, ADHD and autism (screening and support), thalassemia, eczema and atopic conditions.
