Dr. Arora's journey in pediatrics is marked by diverse training and global experience. After earning his postgraduate degree in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care in India, he further honed his skills in Europe with the ESPNIC team for Non-Invasive Ventilation. His expertise extends to Pediatric Nutrition, with ENS certification from Ludwig Maximilian University (Munich) and PGPN from Boston, USA.
A life member of both the Indian Academy of Pediatrics and the Indian Medical Association, Dr. Arora is also a certified trainer in Basic Life Support (BLS) and holds a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. His commitment to pediatric care includes conducting an audit on diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and contributing to the EJADAH guidelines for treating Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) in children. He has presented poster in SMA care in Prague, Czech Republic in 2023.
Throughout his career, Dr. Arora has garnered extensive experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICUs) at JCI-accredited institutes, serving a diverse international patient base. He has successfully managed children with a wide range of diseases, acute pediatric emergencies, prolonged fevers, and complex respiratory conditions. He is well proficient in Pediatric ICU procedures, including ventilators, resuscitation, inotropes management, lumbar punctures, central lines, and difficult IV cannulation. Dr. Arora is particularly adept at handling emergencies such as Childhood Asthma, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), Lung infections including pneumonia, and shock, and is well-versed in pediatric infectious diseases like Dengue, COVID, RSV, Typhoid, pyrexia of unknown origin and non-responsive respiratory illnesses. He also works closely with the Gene therapy team in Medcare hospital.
Dr Arora takes regular sessions with expecting parents as part of Antenatal session. Postnatally he loves conducting feeding and weaning training with first time parents. He is well versed with pediatric vaccination and nutrition.
