He completed his MBBS from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in Nagpur, India and his MD in Internal Medicine from the Maharaja Sayajirao University in Vadodara, India. He has also obtained a DM in Neurology from the Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU (AIIMS), Varanasi, India. He is a member of the Indian Association of Neurology and the American Academy of Neurology.
After completing his MD in Internal Medicine, Dr. Kawale worked in the ICU at the Medical College and at Sterling Hospital as a fellow in the ICU. Later, he practised as a Senior Resident in Neurology at the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University. Subsequently, he relocated to the UAE, where he was a Neuroscience Consultant with the NMC Healthcare group before moving to Medcare.
Dr. Kawale’s expertise covers stroke management, neurocritical cases and other neuro emergencies, and the performance and interpretation of neurophysiological studies. He is proficient in treating cases of migraine and headache disorders, multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, Guillain Barre syndrome, nerve issues, epilepsy, movement disorders, meningoencephalitis, myeloradiculopathy, demyelinating disorders, myopathies and muscular dystrophies, Botox injection, NCS/EMG/ EEG tests and neuroimaging interpretation. He is an expert in muscle and nerve disorders, electrophysiology, nerve conduction studies and electromyography, comprehensive multiple sclerosis treatment, thrombolysis, thrombectomy and rehabilitation.
