Dr. Mohamed Elkhouly

Dr. Mohamed Elkhouly is a Consultant Urologist in the Department of Andrology and Urology at the Medcare Medical Centre. He attended the University of Alexandria in Egypt where he obtained his MBBCh degree. He then completed a military conscription as a Urology Resident in the General Military Hospital of Alexandria. He also did his postgraduate training in Urology at the Mansoura Urology and Nephrology Center, following which he received his Master’s Degree in Urology from the prestigious Cairo University in Egypt.Dr. Elkhouly is a member of some reputed and internationally recognized associations like the American Urological Association (AUA), the European Association of Urologic Surgery (EAU), the Emirati Association of Urology, the American Andrology Association and the Egyptian Urological Association (EUA).After his post-graduation, Dr. Elkhouly was assigned as a Specialist in Urology at the National Institute of Urology and Nephrology in Cairo. Later he moved to Malaysia as a Specialist in Urology at the Ministry of Health Hospital, Sultanah Amina JB. He then obtained the Fellowship of European Board of Urology (FEBU), a Fellowship in Endourology from Mannheim (Heidelberg University) and a Diploma in Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery from Strasbourg University.Dr. Elkhouly then relocated to the Middle East where he practised as a Specialist in Urology at several renowned hospitals like the Elaj Medical Centers in Dubai, Zulekha Hospital, International Modern Hospital, Prime Hospital, City Hospital and Bourn Hall Fertility Centre, all in Dubai. He was the Head of the Urology Department at Saudi German Hospital, Dubai for a short while.Dr. Elkhouly specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of urological diseases, prostate ailments, andrology and male infertility, and advanced minimally invasive treatments for prostate enlargement, including laser vaporisation of the prostate, robotic radical prostatectomy, microscopic varicocelectomy and laparoscopic surgeries. His expertise ranges from cancer surgeries, stone disease and prostate surgeries (laser prostate resection,) urethral surgery, reconstructive urologic surgeries to urinary fistula surgeries.Dr. Elkhouly also performs andrology surgeries, urinary incontinence surgery, laparoscopic correction of the strictured ureter, testicular varicocele and trauma, penile reconstructive surgery for Peyronie's disease, penile implant surgery, and microscopic andrology surgeries including reversal of vasectomy and epididymovasostomy, microsurgical sperm retrieval surgeries. He is passionate about treating urological problems with medical, minimally invasive, and surgical management.
