Dr. Mehmood received his postgraduate training in Birmingham, South Wales, and Oxford in the UK. He is a UK-trained specialist, certified by the General Medical Council in Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology. With nearly 25 years of experience in cardiac disease management, he has worked at world-renowned hospitals such as John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and University Hospital Wales in Cardiff. Having performed thousands of heart procedures throughout his career, he has a special interest in treating patients with multiple blockages, severe calcification of coronary arteries, patients who decline bypass surgery, those seeking stent options, and patients who are too high-risk for cardiac surgery.
