She earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 1993 and a Master of Science (MS) in 1998. Dr. Lukavac is Serbian Board Certified in Pediatrics (2000) and Neonatology (2008). Throughout her career, Dr. Lukavac has held notable positions, including Consultant Neonatologist and Head of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Al Seef Hospital in Kuwait from 2008 to 2015. She also served as a Consultant/Specialist in Pediatrics and Neonatology at the Institute for Neonatology in Belgrade, Serbia, between 2000 and 2008.
