Dr. Poovankavil is a skilled Paediatrician who has worked for over a decade in India and the UAE. He commenced his career as a Junior Resident in the Department of Paediatrics at the Government Medical College, Kozhikode. He later became a Paediatrician with the Government Health Services in Kerala, India. After moving to the UAE, he joined the Saudi German Hospital, in Dubai as Paediatric Registrar. This was followed by stints as a Paediatric GP & Specialist Paediatrician at Al Zahra Private Hospital and as a Specialist Paediatrician at Mediclinic City Hospital, both in Dubai.
