Ramaiah Medical College, both of which are affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bangalore, India. She also holds a Certification in Gestational Diabetes Mellitus from the Public Health Foundation in India. Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore and later moved to the UAE as a Consultant at Aster Hospital, Sharjah and Dubai. She brings with her a repertoire of knowledge and is known for her expertise in procedures like hysteroscopy, vaginal hysterectomy, and both normal and Caesarean deliveries.
Dr. Fernandes is proficient in the management of endometriosis, adenomyosis, and fibroids and performs laparoscopic gynaecological surgeries. She treats ovarian cysts, irregular periods, abnormal discharge, polycystic ovaries, pelvic organ prolapse and post-menopausal bleeding. She gives special attention to patients with high-risk pregnancies, cervical incompetence and miscarriages, does cancer screening, advises patients on contraception, insertion and removal of contraceptive devices and manages adolescent health.
