He started working as a Resident Brain and Spine Surgeon in the Neurosurgery Department at The Military Medical Academy, Sofia, between 1998 and 2000. Dr. Saleh completed his residency program at the Clinical Centre of Neurosurgery at the Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria, under the supervision of two pioneers of neurosurgery in Bulgaria, Prof. Dr. K.
