She is a trained Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (CBT) from Alexandria Students University Hospital, Egypt and a trained Couple Therapist from Couples Institute, California, USA. She has also completed a Masters in PsychoPharmacology Program from Neuroscience Education Institute, California, USA. She is a member of the Egyptian Psychiatric Association and the Neuroscience Education Institute.
Dr. Hanan started her career as a Resident Psychiatrist at Alexandria University Hospital, Egypt and then continued as a Specialist Psychiatrist at the same Hospital. After nearly a decade she relocated to the UAE, where she joined Zulekha Hospital, Sharjah and Dubai as a Specialist Psychiatrist. She has been working for several years with mentally- ill patients using both medications and psychotherapy.
