Dr. Abu El Fuol commenced her career as an internship doctor at the Ministry of Health Hospitals (Princess Basma Hospital) and then became a General Surgery Resident at the Jordanian Royal Medical Services. Here, she performed surgeries and gained invaluable experience by assisting Senior Consultants in various open and laparoscopic surgical interventions. In Jordan, she worked as a General Surgery Specialist at the Jordanian Ministry of Health and the Rosary Sisters Hospital. Subsequently, she moved to the UAE to join Burjeel Specialty Hospital. She also worked with the Aster Hospital as a Specialist Surgeon.
As a Specialist General and Laparoscopic Surgeon, Dr. Abu El Fuol has been responsible for the care of patients attending General Surgery OP, IP and Emergency Department, and has performed a variety of surgeries including the abdomen, gallbladder, appendix and all types of hernia cases, splenectomies, duodenal ulcer perforation, stabbing injuries and exploratory laparotomy, breast oncology surgeries, perianal surgeries like haemorrhoids, fistulas, and fissures. She uses the latest techniques such as Laser, THD, Stapler, Obsidian Surgeries, sphinkeeper, etc. She performs varicose vein surgeries with open or laser EVLA techniques and does minor and outpatient surgical procedures such as cyst excision, breast mass biopsy and suprapubic cystectomy.
