He completed his MBBS and his MSc in Paediatrics from Zagazig University, one of the largest Universities in Egypt. Additionally, he completed his postgraduate programme in Paediatric Nutrition Pro from Boston University, USA and is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Programme (NRP) from the American Heart Association. He is a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FOP, TAS, and AKP).
Dr. Ragheb commenced his career more than a decade ago as a Paediatric and Neonatology Resident at the MOH hospitals in Egypt and then continued there as a Paediatric Specialist. Subsequently, he moved to the UAE. He has spent most of his career with the Medcare group, first as a Paediatric RMO, then as a Specialist in Paediatrics, both at Medcare Hospital, Sharjah.
Dr. Ragheb is an expert in the management of infectious diseases, various allergic disorders, including asthma in children, gastrointestinal diseases, nutritional disorders, routine newborn care, growth and development assessment and paediatric immunisations. He treats all general paediatric diseases, infant and child nutrition and growth, respiratory tract infections, anaemia, digestive problems, fever, cough, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhoea, ear pain and weight loss. He is proficient in caring for newborn babies, giving special attention to vaccinations, health check-ups, well-baby follow-ups, nutritional advice and counselling of parents with a focus on the physical and mental well-being of children.read less
