Dr. Najlaa Kadhum

Dr. Najlaa Jabbar Kadhum Al Tamimi is a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital. She completed her MBChB from the Al Mustansiriya University in Baghdad and a Postgraduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, both in Iraq. She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), UK and a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG), UK. In the initial days of her career, Dr. Al Tamini served as a Senior Resident in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, managing complex cases and emergencies at Al Habeebiya Maternity Hospital and then as a Senior Registrar, overseeing clinical training for junior staff while managing maternity ward operations at Al Furat Al Jadeed Health Care Centre, both in Baghdad, Iraq. Later, she joined Al Rasheed Hospital as a General Practitioner providing primary OB-GYN care and community health services. Subsequently, she relocated to the UAE, where she worked first at Medcare Hospital as Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and then at the International Modern Hospital, as a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She also served at the Medeor Hospital, Doctor Maysoon Clinic and Zia Medical Centre, all in Dubai, offering comprehensive OB-GYN services. She then joined Medcare Hospital, performing advanced gynaecological surgeries, including laparoscopic procedures and the Doctor Maysoon Clinic, specialising in minimally invasive gynaecological procedures. She also did a stint as a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Dr. Sami Al Hashimi Medical Centre.
