Dr. Albani commenced her career as an Intern House Officer at the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) and then worked as a Clinical Teaching Fellow at the University of Sharjah, facilitating undergraduate medical education through hands-on clinical teaching, organising and supervising hospital rotations, and conducting academic sessions. Later, she worked as a General Practitioner at the University of Sharjah’s Medical Clinic where she gained invaluable experience in managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, conducting clinical assessments, prescribing treatments, and offering preventive health advice.
As a General Practitioner, Dr. Albani’s expertise covers all types of acute and chronic conditions, including upper respiratory tract infections (URTIs), asthma, COPD, otitis media and otitis externa, conjunctivitis, gastroenteritis, urinary tract infections (UTIs), and hyperlipidaemia. She believes in giving evidence-based, patient-centred care with an emphasis on accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and ongoing management. She has successfully treated patients suffering from conditions like headaches, dysmenorrhea, throat, back and abdominal pain, GERD, hypertension and sinusitis.
