undergraduate degree from Tanta University, Egypt in 2002, Dr. Abohamer went on to specialize
in psychiatry and neurology in 2008. She is a licensed psychiatrist in Dubai, Sharjah and Egypt.
With more than fifteen years of experience in psychiatry, Dr. Abohamer worked in Egypt as
specialist psychiatrist at the Psychiatry, Neurology and Neurosurgery Center in Tanta University
for more than eight years focused on running the Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) unit
till 2016. Before joining ACPN in 2023, Dr. Hanan worked in UAE for five years as specialist
psychiatrist at Al Amal Psychiatric Hospital, Dubai for inpatient and outpatient adult psychiatric
departments till 2023. She participated in the establishment of TMS unit there and setting up its
standard operational policy. Alongside her clinical career, she held the post of Clinical Lecturer
of Psychiatry at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU)
