Dr. Faour commenced his illustrious career with an internship followed by a residency in Internal Medicine and one in Cardiology at the Liverpool Hospital in Australia. He then did his fellowship in Interventional Cardiology Fellow at Liverpool Hospital and was an adjunct Associate Lecturer at The University of New South Wales, both in Australia. He was an Interventional Cardiology and PhD Fellow at Campbelltown Hospital, Sydney, Australia followed by a fellowship in Structural Cardiology at Leeds General Infirmary in Leeds, UK.
Dr Faour is skilled at OCT/IVUS/FFR/iFR-guided percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI). He has successfully managed patients with coronary artery and valvular heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathies, arrhythmias, metabolic syndrome, hypertension, hyperlipidaemia, aortic stenosis and regurgitation, mitral stenosis and regurgitation, angina and, atrial fibrillation.
