He started as a house officer at the Faculty of Medicine at Cairo then became resident orthopaedics doctor. He was a lecturer of orthopaedics in the Department of Orthopaedics in Egypt and subsequently at Saudi German Hospital in Dubai.
His area of concentration is around congenital and acquired anomalies of upper and lower extremities, neuromuscular disorder (cerebral palsy and brachial plexus palsy), hip disorders, paediatric trauma, limb lengthening and reconstruction, clubfoot treatment and benign bone tumors.
During the course of his work, he has treated dislocated hips, spastic cerebral palsy, benign bone tumors and conducted procedures to correct deformities, bone lengthening, tendon tightening, and muscle transfers for paralytic conditions.read less
