Dr. Rakhi Anand (PhD)

My story is ineffable, but I will try my best to write it down.

Recollections of my initial sessions with Dr. Rakhi Anand still resonate vividly within me. During that phase, I was ensconced within a deep and impenetrable abyss of depression, so consumed by it that communicating with others was a big task in itself. I remember spending most of the day lying in bed, tackling with thoughts.

Yet, Dr. Rakhi's empathetic demeanour and professional aptitude paved the way towards unravelling my innermost self and comprehending my predicament. Her unwavering patience showcased her compassionate nature and expertise in the field, providing me with the much-needed support to navigate through the turmoil and a push that filled me with strength to keep moving forward, even when the light was not visible at the end.

Dr. Rakhi and her team worked so hard towards unshackling me from the suffocating grips of depression. We discussed numerous techniques, from examining cognitive distortions, rationalizing thoughts or mindfulness to name a few, all of which gradually enabled me to overcome the seemingly impossible.

It was her extensive experience and profound understanding of the human psyche that truly aided me to overcome a hurdle that I once felt to be insurmountable.

I am eternally grateful for her guidance and unwavering reinforcement, it has led me on a path towards a brighter and more hopeful future.

She gets to the root of the problem. Dr. Rakhi explains how change can be initiated at one's own end. She has always very patiently listened to my problems. At my discretion she involved my family for creating an ecosystem where my recovery was far more expeditious.

Dr. Rakhi Anand is a highly professional and empathetic psychologist who listens to your problem patiently. I have been visiting her for anxiety for the past few weeks and have seen quite some improvement in my condition. I look forward to continue to engage with her and fully resolve my issue.

Dr. Anand uses all her immense experience to really help you work out your issues step by step. The insights she gives about yourself are simple yet thought provoking ones. I would highly recommend her. She will make sure you become a better and a healthier person.

Disappointed with the way my treatment was handled. Dr. Rakhi did not even speak with me, it was mostly her assistant therapizing me which was quite shocking given that i was paying 2000rs per session and this also made me feel uncomfortable and insulted as if i was being treated like a “child” with no serious problems. It felt more like a student-teacher meeting at times for instance one time i asked for anger management tips and i was replied with “just try not to get so angry”…thats it???....the entire experience, to be very honest, did not help me in any way or resolve any of my problems. ***** **** * ****** ** *********

I really do NOT recommend the doctor. She was my first time visiting a psychologist. I went to her for quite a lot of sessions believing that she is invested in my well-being. However, every time I would go, she would end the one hour session in 30 minutes and ask me to make an appointment for the next time. She did not even discuss the root problems in those 30 minutes and would drag the sessions saying that they would be discussed next time. *** ** **** **** *** *** ****** ** **** *** ****** ** ******** ** **** ***** **** *** ******** ** **** *** ********* In 3 months, I did not make any progress and it discouraged me from going to therapists for a long time. Therapy was always an unsure thing for me, and when I came for it here I was at a point in life where I needed desperate help and could not get any. With patience and professionalism, I know I have gotten better than I was before, especially in the way that I've wanted it. Rakhi Anand is systematic, progressive, understanding and focused, all of which are more than what I could have asked for.
