Analjit Singh is the founder and Chairman of the Max Group of Hospitals and Padma Bhushan Awardee. He established the first medical unit under this chain in 2000 as Max Medcentre, Panchsheel Park having facilities for OPD and day-care surgeries. The first hospital came up at Pitampura in 2002, and it also received the prestigious ISO certification. Max Hospital at Saket was the first super-speciality hospital. It received NABH and NABL certification for its laboratories in 2007. 2009 was a significant year for the Max Group as it won the D. L. Max Hospital Admission Process

The customer service representative guides the patient’s family members to complete the admission formalities. They also issue them the patient’s registration card and the visitor’s card. The database of the hospital maintains all the details about the patient furnished at the time of admission. It also keeps a record of the medical procedures undertaken by the doctors. The patient needs to pay a certain amount as advance at the time of admission and the administrative staff also provides a rough estimate of the total treatment cost.

Discharge Process

After the successful completion of the treatment process, the medical team guides the family members through the discharge process. A full and final settlement bill is issued, and the payment can be made either through cash or other electronic payment gateways. All personal belongings are handed over to the patient at the time of discharge.

Guidelines for Visitors

In the IPD room, only visitors can meet the patient between 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

In ICUs, the management allows only one visitor between 11:00 am to 12:00 noon and 06:00 pm to 07:00 pm

The hospital also allows a single attendant in the Single, Twin Sharing Cabins and Suites.
