I had been affected with covid -19 Delta variant in the Ending month of June. During this covid I developed pain in abdomen while in hospital for getting treatment of covid. On timely Examination and notice of doctors, they Referred me to another hospital in UAE. On doing CT scan of my abdomen, it was found I had colon rupture (Large intestines cut/damaged) and Whole puss of large intestines was spreading slowly to other parts. So, Doctors there took first call of immediate surgery in month of July 2021 and drained the puss from abdomen. Due to covid and immediate surgery I had lot of weakness., After Few days immediately travelled to India.
After one week pain again started in abdomen, followed by redness. After Enquiring about the best Gastroenterologist from my brother-in-Law, I came to Apollo hospital Delhi. Here I First met Physician Dr.N.M TICKOO who later on referred me to Dr SUNIL KAUL Who is surgeon in department of Gastroenterology Apollo hospital Delhi. He examined me and advised for another immediate surgery in order to remove puss from abdomen, so that it does not spread to other parts. After doing surgery in the month of August 2021, he created Fistula(opening) in my body in order to drain puss from colon so that it does not get accumulated again.
He advised me to keep these 2 wounds open and these wounds should not get closed .Dr Sunil Kaul tried to give 2 to 3 months healing time in order to avoid another 2 major surgeries. But due to my bad luck colon rupture did not heal on its own. Dr Sunil Kaul motivated me a lot and gave me confidence. Later I went for another 3rd Major surgery in month of December 2021 and was admitted for 11days where Dr Sunil Kaul did my surgery of colon Repair and created ileostomy (small intestine detached from colon and taken out from body connected with ileostomy bag). Also went for 4th Major surgery in the month of January 2022 for ileostomy closer.Inspite of facing such bad time, because of multiple surgeries, I feel lucky enough to have met Dr Sunil Kaul who came in form of God…. gave me another life. Never seen such a doctor being so down to earth, humble and always ready to help. He is master of his profession and completely knowledgably and carried these surgeries himself. Now I am completely fit and fine by the blessings of Sai baba and dedication of Dr. Sunil Kaul.
Dear all my intention of writing this is not to gain any sympathies, but to make everyone aware what I faced with fight against covid.
• Doctors are referred as life savers. Timely treatments is available but right doctors sometimes are not available. I was lucky enough to have met right doctor on right time. So, I recommend you Dr Sunil Kaul of Apollo Hospital Delhi for Gastroenterology related issues ** *** **** ****** * **** ****

Visited Dr. Kalpana Nagpal (ENT/ Otorhinolaryngologist)
I would not recommend Dr. Kalpana Nagpal to anyone on this earth. ** **** *** **** ****** ***** *** *** she performed the Hemithyroidectomy on me on 28th Jan 2022. I had a right thyroid nodule of 3 cm which was Bening as per the 2 FNAC tests performed a year apart from 2 different hospitals. I stay in Kolkata and I went to Delhi to get my nodule treated, I visited Dr. Nagpal and she told me that the size of my nodule is ideal for ROBOTIC surgery, the cost of Robotic Surgery was not at all affordable for us (as we were not sure if my company's insurance will cover such advanced procedure), still my mother was ready to go for it as the Robotic thyroidectomy as it is performed from Axilla, not directly on the neck.
After the surgery a drain was attached to the thyroid gland from the Axilla which was supposed to be pulled out after 3 days. I visited the hospital for drain removal on 2nd Feb 2022, from that day onwards I kept telling the Dr. that I feel like a drain in my neck and she kept ignoring saying it is just a post-surgery swelling, still I had doubts as I could feel it all the time. Therefore I stayed in Delhi for a month till my next follow up after a month of surgery, so in case anything happens I'll stay close to hospital bearing all the extra costs that 1 month costed me. During my 1 month post surgery visit, I again told her about what I can feel in the surgery area and she said it could be Muscular Fibrosis and there is nothing from her end to recheck as she is so sure about her procedures.
[After around 1.5 months of surgery it suddenly started bleeding from the incision followed with severe swelling and fever (which was due to the tube pinching the fragile skin from inside, I told her the same and she prescribed me **** ** **** pain killers and antibiotics, *** ****** ** ***** ** ***** ********* ** ***** ******* ** ** ***** *********

Next day I went to Dr. Nagpal and after seeing the x-ray first she denied and than she asked me where the tube came from (like if I got it planted myself or as if I know) then she called another Dr. from floor and asked my brothers to wait outside while she checks and she got hold of the tube and she was ready to PULL IT OUT CUTTING LAYERS OF MY SKIN ON THE OPD CHAIR THAT TOO WITHOUT ANY PRIOR CT SCAN OR ANYTHING, THAT TUBE WAS INSIDE ME FOR 7 MONTHS. Thanks, Almighty God, for enabling me to choose Dr. Saurabh Rawall for my surgery of cervical myelopathy (C5-C6, C6-C7 Spinal cord decompression surgery). Problem was started in Oct 23 from pain in arms and shoulders, after a week it slipped into paralysis of lower body with numbness/ stiffness. It was very dangerous for me as I was not able to walk, gut was involved so no motion for 2-3 days and due to this my office job and daily routine was disrupted. I searched for the best surgeons in Delhi NCR for approx. 3 months and consulted 14 -15 top spinal surgeons in Delhi NCR, underwent physiotherapy and sought homeopathic treatment, nothing worked, eventually, I met with Dr. Saurabh Rawall. He was convincing to my satisfaction; Dr. Saurabh, who made this surgery very simple and clear to me. ** ** *** **** ****** ******* * **** **** ** **** Very humble, soft spoken and highly intelligent surgeon. I was operated on 8 mar 24, now its almost 6 weeks post-surgery, the outcome of surgery is very good. All body tightness/ numbness has gone. Alhamdolillah recovering very well, walking to office, living normal daily routine. Many thanks to Dr. Saurabh for making this surgery highly successful. We have been listening from childhood about doctor’s idealism and I must say Dr. Saurabh is a complete package with all good qualities of human doctor. I wish him a great success ahead.

Really no words to express! Any doctor can prescribe, but only a few good ones can really heal. You are the latter.
He is like a Brother to God for us.
Then also gonna express my feeling and experience with Dr. Saurabh Rawall.
My Brother underwent Scoliosis Surgery(having a severe curve). Our first conversation with Dr. Saurabh Rawall made us so comfortable that we decided at that point to go for it. He explained each and everything so clearly we were satisfied with of all of those. Then also we were having fear in us but by the Grace of God, Surgery was successful. The moment Sir told me surgery is Successful, I thank God and Dr Saurabh Rawall who dedicately gave so much of his time with Dr Alok Gupta. Thank you for everything that you have done for us; the hospital environment has always made me nervous, but you made it bearable. Thank you for all of your services.
Dr Saurabh Rawall is not the best doctor everyone expects but hardly finds.
His Assistant Dinesh is also a nice person.
I pray to God that no one should have such disease but in any case if he or she have would really recommend Dr Saurabh Rawall undoubtedly.
Superheroes don’t wear capes, they wear aprons and save us in our hard times. So grateful for your service!
May God bless Dr Saurabh Rawall, Dr Alok Gupta and their families and have bright future.
Visited Dr. Ashok Sarin (Nephrologist/Renal Specialist) For Transplant NephrologyBP with Kidney Disease
Happy with: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issue
I had been feeling dejected after receiving an incorrect diagnosis from another doctor regarding my rising creatinine levels, just weeks after a transplant. However, upon reaching out to Dr. Sarin, he immediately put me at ease and took charge of the situation.
Dr. Sarin listened attentively to my entire case and asked me how I felt physically. When I told him I was feeling fine, he reassured me that I was, in fact, fine and that I should leave the report and numbers to him.
It has been five years since that day, and Dr. Sarin has been a godsend in some of the most challenging circumstances related to my health. What amazes me most is his memory. He remembers his patients (at least, me), their conditions, and complications, even years after treatment. I would recommend him highly to other kidney patients.
I understand that some people may not appreciate Dr. Sarin's direct communication style, but I believe he always has the best interest of his patients in mind. Overall, my experience with Dr. Sarin has been life-changing, and I cannot recommend him enough to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and dedicated nephrologist.

Last Friday (28th Jul'2023), I had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Sarin along with my father, who is 87 years old and suffering from a high creatinine level. Dr. Sarin listened attentively to the entire case of my father, thoroughly examined him, and checked all his reports before prescribing the required medicine. What stood out to me about Dr. Sarin was his friendly and cheerful behavior.
During the consultation, Dr. Sarin suggested my father reduce his weight and even asked me to take an oath that I would not increase my weight. He genuinely cared about my father's overall well-being. Additionally, as the lungs reports were not good Dr. Sarin suggested to meet Pulmonologist as well, upon my request, he suggested me to meet Dr. MS Kanwar a senior Pulmonologist at Apollo Hospital. Dr. Sarin took the initiative to talk to Dr. Kanwar and explain the case in detail.
Unlike many other doctors who rush through appointments, Dr. Sarin spent at least 30 minutes addressing our concerns and ensuring that we understood the treatment plan. His behavior and nature were excellent, and I am grateful for the care he provided.
I will post an update about my father's health status after a month. Thank you, Dr. Sarien, for your exceptional care.
