This might be a long review but worth reading, if you are worried choosing a good doctor for you through the roller coaster journey of pregnancy.

I was blessed with a baby girl on 24th November 2021, under the care of Dr. POOJA CHOUDHARY.

So, The day i got to know i was pregnant, more than being happy , i was depressed because of being judged by a doctor as i was (very much) overweighed.

I went through tonns of social platforms, reviews, ratings and finally thought to meet 'Dr. Pooja Choudhary'. But i assured myself visit 2-3 doctors and choosing the one who judged my body less.

We booked an appointment on practo and finally the day came. I met her first with a feeling of terror in me thinking-she would ask why did i plan a baby before shedding some weight. But to my surprise she welcomed us with such a positive attitude and gesture that my first visit itself gave me such motivation towards being a plus size healthy mother♥ no judgments were made at all , which made me think positive and have a healthy pregnancy.

And yes the decision of meeting 2-3 doctors and choosing one among them also strictly changed. This was indeed the first moment i felt happy for my baby coming soon.

She has been a true blessing for me throughout this period pregnancy as well as post pregnancy, she was only a call away 24*7, every doubt and every query was answered very politely, anytime in the day or night. More than a doctor, she will be your mother, your elder sister, your friend. She trully has a golden heart.

Today i can proudly say, i made the best choice that helped me go very smooth throught this tough phase of life.

As I am working in Delhi, I and my husband were so confused about whom (Doctor) should we go, as I was going first time "MOM TO BE". We found Dr. Sanjida Yasmin through Google while searching for Best Gynecologist.

We got her appointment and met her. We followed her during the pregnancy. There were so many ups & downs in my pregnancy so I had contacted her in odd hours too without any hesitation and worry. And she listened my each and every problem politely and handled them gracefully as per the situations. She called me back whenever missed the call. This was my first pregnancy, so I felt nervous many times, She make me calm and provide me mental peace also by talking openly about everything.

We wanted to have a normal delivery, but was not aware if that could be possible. Many times I asked her about that but Dr. Sanjida never gave me false hopes and make me understand that the only thing I need to do is stay motivated to have a normal delivery and follow her advices. She registered my name in antenatal exercises also. I followed exactly that and finally on 28.07.2023, I had a normal Vaginal delivery. Happy to share that i delivered a healthy baby boy.

Thank you for everything you've listened and done for me. I felt very confident and secure in your care. I would like to extend my gratitude towards you for being the most dedicated, calm, carefull, thoughtful, and compassionate doctor. We thank her for all the support and care throughout 9 months and even now.

My little guy is 4.10 years now. He is called Taksh.

It’s close to 5 years now and we have never ONCE thought of another neo-natal or paediatric care for our son.

Stories :

1. We recommended Dr Gaurav Jawa to our closest friends. One couple was carrying twins and nursing a high risk pregnancy. They visited us in hospital when Taksha was delivered and the same night, the water broke. They called me in the hospital at around 1.10am. I spoke to the concerned and the Gynae and Dr Jawa and all else were in the hospital before the patients arrived. 45 mins and twins were delivered. She was due for January, but this was Oct 27th.

I have watched up-close Dr Jawa handle these Pre-mature kids. His confidence, his experience, his compassion, his warmth and love has been magical.

On day one he informed the family :

A. They are “this weight”. They would be discharged in “xxx” days with weight “Cy” kgs.he did just that.

B. The mother would not be away from the kids … in fact should spend time with the little ones and from time to time.

C. I saw him have the kids fed one drop at a time.

He did exactly what he said. Today these twins are super healthy, super vibrant.

2. My wife and I have been travelling all over for work. Irrespective of the distance we had to travel to see the doc, we never once doubted our decision. Absolutely NON-commercial. Completely against antibiotics unless absolutely required. Understands a child more than most moms (put together).

3. This is the best - he will talk to your kid like you never did. Your kid hasn’t started talking yet - no problem - this Dr will hear his problems. You see Dr Jawa consult your kid, once - and you’d know why I’ve said what I have.

4. Dr Jawa sits in south delhi. I’m now in Kerala. My kid is 4.10years. If there is one person I’d like to talk to for his health, it is Dr jawa. P.S. whether it be a video call through Practo or flying to Delhi - Id do it.

I’ve known more than a few dozen couples who consulted Dr Jawa. Never once, not a single time have I heard a negative.

Before her i visited max hospital for my pregnancy checkup but was highly dissatisfied with their approach and the time they gave me in my appointments. I read positive reviews about Dr Pooja online and decided to visit her. I am thankful i did because she is the best gynecologist i have ever consulted. Her softness and concern for her patients is such that as a first time mom i was made so comfortable and she gave me Atleast 30 minutes of time per appointment explaining everything patiently. I asked her i wanted to have a normal delivery and she guided me very patiently . My babys weight was over the estimated weight that was shown on ultrasound. He was 3.7 kgs and had a tight loop of cord around his neck. I was induced at 38 weeks to increase my chances of normal delivery and with proper monitoring she was able to remove the cord within me before delivering the baby normally. It was incredible how she dealt with pressure with such diligence. And even in my post delivery appointments she feels like a family member who you can express and talk to about your concerns. I would genuinely recommend her to everyone who wants to be treated with great professionalism while at the same time having that friendly motherly care.
