She was previously Assistant Professor Dermatology at Army College of Medical Sciences, Delhi Cantt. She has vast experience in treating both General Dermatological Diseases as well as Cosmetic Aesthetic dermatology procedures and Lasers due to her vast experience in working with Premier Medical Colleges like Army College of Medical Sciences and All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
Army College of Medical Sciences, Base Hospital Delhi Cantt is the largest skin center with 115 beds for skin diseases. Dr. Shilpa Garg had spearheaded to set up Cosmetology and Dermatosurgery Department at Army College of Medical Sciences. She was actively involved in Aesthetic and Cosmetic Surgery. As an Assistant Professor, she was also responsible for both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching of students. She has presented numerous papers and original research in National and International Conference. She has been awarded Best Paper in both National and International Conference. She is Assistant Editor and Reviewer of various journals. She has numerous books, articles, and chapters to her credit.
